Pass- und Visaangelegenheiten
Die Ausstellung von Visa und Passverlängerungen ist ausnahmslos nur dienstags (werktags) nach telefonischer Voranmeldung zwischen 9:00 und 12:00 Uhr möglich. Keine Beglaubigungsbefugnis.
Das Honorarkonsulat macht des Weiteren darauf aufmerksam, dass Visa nur an jene Personen ausgestellt werden können, die in Österreich ihren Hauptwohnsitz haben. Für einen Visumsantrag ist daher ein Meldezettel mit mindestens dreimonatiger Hauptwohnsitzmeldung in Österreich vorzuweisen. Für alle anderen Antragsteller ist die Botschaft von Kamerun in Berlin zuständig.

Das Visaformular ist in zweifacher Ausfertigung mitzubringen, alle Unterlagen sind im Original und in zweifacher (!) Kopie vorzuweisen! (Fehlende Kopien werden verrechnet.)

Nouveaux passeports
Les membres de la Communauté camerounaise sont informés qu'ils peuvent déjà obtenir le nouveau passeport à l'Ambassade du Cameroun à Berlin. Ce passeport lisible sur machine, encore appelé "Passeport informatisé" ou "Passeport CEMAC", est pour le moment exclusivement établi par la DGSN (Délégation Générale à la Sûreté Nationale) à Yaoundé. L'Ambassade se charge par conséquent seulement de la collecte des pièces et données requises, ainsi que de la confection des dossiers à transmettre au Cameroun à cette fin.
NOTA BENE : 1. La validité du passeport CEMAC actuel ne se proroge pas. En cas de besoin, un nouveau passeport devra être sollicité.
2. La validité des anciens passeports peut encore, jusqu'à nouvel ordre, être prorogée à l'Ambassade à Berlin.
3. L' OACI (Organisation de l'Aviation Civile Internationale) exige qu'au mois d'avril 2010, tout voyageur soit en possession d'un passeport biométrique ou au moins d'un passeport lisible sur machine. Il est recommandé aux détenteurs des anciens modèles de passeports d'envisager l'établissement de nouveaux passeports avant cette date butoir.
La liste des pièces requises et le formulaire de demande de passeport sont disponibles à l'Ambassade à Berlin ou sur son site Web www.ambacam.de au lien Documents téléchargeables de la Page d'Accueil.
New Passports
Members of the Cameroonian community are hereby informed than they can now obtain the new passport at the Embassy of Cameroon in Berlin. This passport which is legible on machine and known presently as “computerized passport” or “CEMAC passport” is for the moment only being established by the General Delegation for National Security (DGSN) in Yaoundé. However, the Embassy collects documents and data needed for this passport and transmit them to Cameroon for its establishment.
NOTA BENE : 1. The current CEMAC passport cannot have his validity extended. In case of need, a new passport necessary needs to be solicited.
2. The “former or old passport” could, pending new instructions, have their validity extended at the Embassy in Berlin.
3. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) emphasizes that by April 2010 at latest, all persons travelling should be in possession of a biometric passport or at least a passport that is legible on machine. It is therefore highly recommended to holders of the “former or old passports” form to ensure that they establish the new passport form before the said deadline.
